Please don't do business with us

Given the current state of the economy, you would expect to see the very best customer service possible wherever you shop or do other business at.

As I said, that is what you would expect, but unfortunately, expectations do not always equal reality.

A few weeks ago when checking out of a Redner’s Grocery Store, the young cashier asked me if I found everything I was shopping for. When I said yes, but would you like a suggestion — without a pause, she said no, not really. What?!?!

Today I stopped in at Weis Markets, another grocery store. When I asked a member of the butcher staff if they had any free-range chicken, the guy looked at me like I had two heads. I decided to go through the self-checkout and when I paid with cash, the mechanism shorted me a nickel. When I said something to the Supervisor, she was obviously annoyed with my complaint. Really?!?!

Please, whatever business you are in, do an audit TODAY to make certain that your staff treats people, all people, like an asset and not a burden. This is an area that we at Confidential Counselor spend a great deal of time on with our clients.
